A crystal structure templeThis temple was originally designed for a wooden wheel as an idea I had for a previous IRTC competition. The crystal structure is a so called hydrotalcite and was a part of my Ph.D. thesis |

a wooden rammerThe wooden wheels were an idea I had for a IRTC competition about famous engineering developments. Because it looked a little bit poor, I added an axle and trunk. For the wood structure I used the texture from Steffen Heinicke descibed in D.P.M. |

An MAS NMR rotorThis is also a part of my Ph.D thesis, a picture to explain the magic angle spinning of a sample in a nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscope. This was my absolut first try with PoV-Ray |

The crystal museumThis is my image for the august 98 IRTC run with the theme “Elements”. Its a variation of my good knowed hydrotalcite structure in a museum-like show-case |

a search-engine logoThis was a demonstration to show my colleages that PoV-Ray does real ray tracing. They tried to get the lens effect with Photo Shop plugins so I showed them, that it is not only cheaper but more realistic to do such things with a real ray tracer. |
